Under this headline Connie Hedegaard, Minister for the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009 is hosting more than 150 countries. As an introduction in an article published at the opening day of COP15 Monday December the 7th – she wrote: There are moments in history where the world can choose to go down different paths. The Climate Conference in Copenhagen is one of those defining moments.

EXHIBITIONS	SPRING FESTIVAL 2010
The 100 poorest in Nordic House „The 100 poorest” was published by Kurt Lewin Foundation in 2009 and it attempts to show a few examples of the numberless faces of poverty through 100 photos and short descriptions. Opening of the exhibition in Nordic House will take place on 8 March 2010 at 7 pm.	Danish Programs at the Budapest Spring Festival The special guest of this year’s festival is Denmark; therefore several Danish programs and performances will make the event more memorable.

Riverside Swedish webseries is on air after the hit tv show Andra Avenyn - enjoy it at our website live!	Danish language clubs Månedens 3. tirsdag nærmer sig, hvor der igen afholdes dansk sprogklub i Nordisk Hus. Emnet denne gang er den danske højskole. Vi vil høre om Grundtvig, højskoleidéens fadder, om historien og højskolernes rolle i dagens Danmark – og der vil naturligvis også blive mulighed for at stille spørgsmål og i øvrigt deltage i debatten.

New courses from 2010!
Nordic House Foundation announces language courses on Danish, Swedish, Norwegian languages in 2010. The courses contain 30 lessons (45 minutes each), 1x3 or 2x2 per week. The courses will start off in case of at least 5 enrolled students. The fee for the whole course must be paid on the first lesson in cash.
