From the beginning of the ’90s name of Las von Trier has kept appearing more and more frequently outside the borders of Denmark, too.  The film director together with his colleague, Thomas Vinterberg announced the formation of Dogma95 group on an international film symposium in 1995. Their aim was to save the over-manipulated, declining film art. They proclaimed so called vow of chastity which was summed up in ten points, „commandments”. Nevertheless, the avant-garde and sometimes bizarre rules shake up film art. They reject films with foreseeable dramaturgy and declare that films must not deceive audience.

First professionals considered „ vow of chastity” a pleasing joke, but it turned out soon it was more than reformative extravagance of some young filmmakers.

What is Dogma95 in reality, who joined it, to what extent can the „ten commandments” what were the reactions of film trade? Where is the tolerance level of reception? Such questions are to be answered at the talks and the audience is encouraged to play an active role in the program. The werkfilm of Idiots and the premier of a biographic film of Lars von Trier will also be projected.
