A FRENCH FILM WITH HUNGARIAN AND SWEDISH ARTISTS The Titanic Film Festival will be presenting the French movie Domaine that was directed by the Austrian-French director Patrick Chiha. The film has both Scandinavian and Hungarian aspects. The soundtrack of the movie was composed by the French-born but Sweden-based very talented singer Milkymee. The soundtrack will be available from 14th April on various Internet sites. One of the maine songs in the film, Sally was written by Tibor Erdõs who is among other things the program director of Swedish and Icelandic affairs at Nordic House and also living in Sweden.
The world premiere of the film was on the Critics´Week at the Venice Film Festival last autumn. Since then the film has been introduced at a number of festivals including Vienna, San Fransisco, Belford and now at the film festival in Budapest. The main characters in the film are the famous/infamous Beatrice Dalle who is highly poplar both in the US and France and the young Isaie Sultan. This independent film is considered as a comeback film for Dalle in France.
The Hungarian audience can remember her from films such as Betty Blue 37.5 Le Matin, Club to Death and Inside. A little preview of the soundtrack is available on the official website of the movie. related links: |
