HEDDA GABLER: THEATRE PREMIERE AT NORDIC HOUSE The famous playwright of Henrik Ibsen will be put on stage at Nordic House Foundation on the 2nd of December 2009 at 7 pm. The performance is supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Nordic House Foundation. The play can be seen six more times in December! Hedda, daughter of General Gabler, marries Jörgen Tesman who is waiting for being appointed to a professorship. After returning from their six-months-long honeymoon their life tends to sink into the dull and dreary weekdays. But the arrival of Ejlert Lövborg brings fatal changes into the newly married couple’s life.
Hedda Gabler. A “place-specific” performance of three freshly graduated actors. An attempt to present fully the play of Ibsen that originally had seven figures.
