Early Childhood Education and Care in Sweden

  • Introduction- Brief synopsis of the Swedish educational model in a historical context
  • ECEC Policies and Programs in Sweden
  • Overview of the curriculum for Swedish compulsory school system, pre-school class/leisure-time center
  • Summary of Early Childhood Programs i.e Pedagogical Frameworks
  • Parental Involvement
  • Multicultural Early Childhood Settings
  • Discussion: Education Policy Analysis.  Fundamental differences between Hungarian and Swedish ECEC.
