FREE WORKSHOP OF MARIE BROLIN-TANI
Dear contemporary dancers,
Are you a 16-27 year old professional dancer interested in contemporary dance?
Then welcome to a 3.5 hour workshop on 7th November 2009 with the Swedish-Danish choreographer Marie Brolin-Tani in Budapest arranged by Nordic House Foundation.
Marie Brolin-Tani will give a 1.5 hour class. in her special style inspired by Limon/Horton technique. After a short break some repertoire will follow, from some of Marie Brolin-Tani's latest choreography. A short discussion about contemporary dance in Hungary versus Scandinavia will finish the day.
Marie Brolin-Tani is well known in Hungary among contemporary dance lovers due to her collaboration with the Gyõri Ballet.
The workshop is for free and the number of participants is limited.

Born October 19th 1958 in Stockholm
Theoretical education
Music Classes at Maria and Adolf Frederiks School in Stockholm and a year at the humanistic side, Adolf Frederiks School.
Adult grammar school in Helsingborg
Dance education
Balettakademien in Stockholm. A 3-year education for dancers. Starting in 1976 and ending in 1980. Further dance studies at the London School of Contemporary Dance, London.
