GOTHENBURG SIMPHONY ORCHESTRA IN BUDAPEST

On the closing day of Budapest Spring Festival Sweden’s national orchestra, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra will give concert.

KépThe performance begins at 7:30 pm in Béla Bartók National Concert Hall of Palace of Arts. Peter Eötvös will conduct the orchestra.

The Gothenburg Symphony became one of Europe’s leading symphonic ensembles under the direction of Neeme Järvi.

Besides Bartók, Wagner and Stravinsky pieces the audience can listen to the new Eötvös composition, too. The violin soloist will be Akiko Suwanai, the youngest ever winner in the history of the Tchaikovsky Competition.
