NORA'S SISTERS - SEMINAR AND COMPETITION

Brave Decisions, Women's Life Choices - this is the title of the seminar and the competition that will be held in Miskolc at the Regional Adult Learning Centre of Miskolc University on the 16th of April.

The Adult Educational Regional Center of Miskolc University invites literary tenders with the title - Brave decisions, female lives and choices in the 21st century in Hungary and holds a seminar of equal opportunity on 16. April 2008.

As part of “Ibsen year” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway started an international series of seminar about equal opportunities in 2006. Now the organizers of Miskolc seminar announced a literary competition for the 11th and 12th grade of secondary schools. The task is to rewrite the last scene of Ibsen’s Nora as it would happen between a Hungarian couple.

The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a series of seminars about equal rights as part of the Ibsen Year held in 2006. The seminars were held in more than two dozens of cities, such as Alexandria, Madrid, Peking, Tel Aviv, and Ramallah with the participation of named local and Norwegian participants.
